i like this series of classic cartoons. small suggestion though, try a dark outline around the exterior of each character, it will make them stand out a bit more and give them a bit of depth. either way nice fun work.

Thanks for the feedback man, I have a few more of these old guys coming up. It's more pleasing to work on these guys and other vector work than it is to sit for hours and toil around with a bleeping skin for hours on end.

I'm really going to start using more of my own characters sometime next year. About the darklines, I've tried to do that and did not like how the characters came out in comparison to their individual backgrounds.

I like to use neutered pale colors for the backgrounds. When the outline is too dark, It kind of throws off the setting. I'm not sure if this will make sense anyone else but me, but I like when the character seems to be at peace in their background environment. Colors really set the mood for me.

yeah i know exactly what you mean mate. well if you want sometime i can play around with any of them to show you how different thicknesses can make a big difference. either way just wanted to lend a hand. nice work either way ;) keep it up mate. and yeah i can imagine a wall or design in general is alot more fun to work on than a skin.
